To celebrate Radio 2 in the Park 2024 coming to Moor Park in Preston next month, Jo Whiley, with a co-host, will broadcast her Radio 2 and BBC Sounds evening show live at our legendary music venue, The Ferret, on Thursday 5th September! 🔥‼️
Jo will be presenting her show from 7-9pm in front of a small audience of Radio 2 listeners at The Ferret– an independent music venue in the heart of Lancashire’s music scene - and three Lancashire acts – Bryony Jarman-Pinto, LOWES and VALA – will perform live at The Ferret during her broadcast. The evening will also mark the start of Whiley’s Spotlight BBC Introducing Act segment on her show where she will aim to showcase new artists around the UK!
The show will also be available to listen to on BBC Radio Lancashire with their BBC Introducing presenter, William Wolstenholme, who will be co-hosting with Jo.
