Ferret friend & stalwart SJB turn(ed) 40. Belated birthday celebrations OPEN TO ALL with a live 'sho' from WIGSTRAP (formerly of Hello Bamboo) + DURHAM MODUN doing bleeps. PLUS Stephen's carefully curated playlist of bangers and ballads, leaning heavily on alternative rock from the 90s.

WIGSTRAP:

Internationally unrecognised artist Wig Strap makes music and songs that come directly from his Wig covered brain. Taking inspiration and influence from outsider music (think Crispin Glover, The Shaggs, Daniel Johnston, Captain Beefheart), 70’s folk, 80’s pop, 90’s rock and modern lo-fi sounds. With his previous band Hello Bamboo, his infamous "sho" segments were legendary amongst local music fans. His first (and possibly last) live performance as Wig Strap will see him play new original songs, unusual covers, the odd Hello Bamboo song and maybe more?
