TIN GODS - Straight off the back of their EP launch here at The Ferret, Tin Gods are back!
They were there at The Adelphi, The Ship, The Lamb, The King's Arms, The Black Bull, The Market Tavern, The Lamb and Packet, The Original Ship, The New Ship Inn, The Politician, The Warehouse, The Guild Merchant, The Bull and Royal (Colour Bar), The 12 Bar, The Bear's Paw (12 Bar 2). Aqualenium, The Railway, The Mitre, The Dog and Partridge, The New Brit, Mercury Flux, The Unicorn, Buzz, The Mill, The Marquee, 53 Degrees. And of course, The Mad Ferret.
They even managed an encore on the 1996 Rock in the Park with The Verve headlining at Avenham Park.
Genuine and emotive indie rock, you will hear influences but their own original style. Overall, you’re reminded of the Stoic feel... The Stranglers, cool emotions of The Smiths and early Afghan Wigs. Every song is a classic; a relentlessly anthemic delivery of driving rock and roll, flawlessly executed and passionately expressed.
THE LAVELLES - Hailing from the heart of Darwen, Lancashire, The Lavelles are a four-piece indie band that thrives on the rich musical heritage of our hometown. Founded by brothers Tom and Sam, alongside good friends Kienan and Kyle our music is a testament to the vibrant sounds that have long echoed through the North West. We take great pride in our roots, drawing inspiration from the legendary bands that shaped the region's musical landscape, while forging our own path with a distinctive and original sound.
COLLECTORS - Collectors are an indie band hailing from Preston, UK, known for their emotive, guitar-driven compositions and intimate live performances. They've recently released singles like “Spectre” and “I Don’t Want to Leave,” showcasing their knack for melodic hooks and heartfelt lyricism. Their music videos, created in collaboration with filmmakers like lokifilms7, reflect a cinematic sensibility and artistic ambition. With a growing presence both online and on stage, Collectors are steadily building momentum through authentic connection with their audience and a clear vision for their sound. HARRY WRIGHT - Harry is a Bolton-based singer/songwriter known for crafting melodic tunes that blend heartfelt lyrics with an acoustic indie sound, and alongside his storytelling abilities he brings an honest and intimate touch to every song.
