On Good Friday, join us for a Saved(?) The Ferret fundraiser-success celebration!

In honour of us reaching our crowdfunder target, we’re putting on a right good party to thank you all for helping us towards the ultimate goal of saving our home.

While we don't 100% know what's next for The Ferret just yet, we know that we're going to keep putting on fantastic gigs, as per.

So, we’re bringing 5 acts that have supported us with ace #SaveTheFerret gigs over the last 5 months... and this time, all the ticket money goes to the bands, so please come and support them in the same way you’ve supported us over this last year!

GIDEON CONN

Gideon Conn is known for effortlessly blending acoustic folk and hip hop. His unique performance style never fails to impress. He has previously toured across the UK with the likes of Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, Jason Mraz & Bunty. He has also made appearances at various festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival & Latitude.

THE JACKPOT GOLDEN BOYS

The Jackpot Golden Boys are infectious, uplifting and bursting with melodies and have been a much loved local act for many years. They have previously undertaken large scale tours of USA & Europe supporting Epic Rap Battles Of History. With Alex, Jim and Mike you can always expect the unexpected.

BEACH MOUNTAIN

Playing the music of Matthew Gallagher (Wille & The Bandits, Moon & The Beams, etc) this lineup features Aidan Poland (Moon & The Beams, This Dirty Swamp, The Hiphopalippz) on drums and Liam Ogburn (of Working Men's Club fame) on bass, with Dave Barker (Pike, Deadwood Dog) on organ.

With a natural ear for music and a unique ability to connect with audiences around the world, Matthew Gallagher is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, session musician, engineer and producer. His extensive experience in live performance has seen him both playing and opening for many respected and critically acclaimed artists.

GEESE

Formed around 2015 from the carcasses of various bands from around their native Lancashire, guitarist Matt Gerrard, drummer Chris McKendrick and bassist Lewis Hill call Geese “an experiment in time-travelling genre-fluidity.” Their collective musical background covers everything from Math-rock to retro Hip-Hop, via New Orleans Jazz and big-band RnB, and they’re dipping toes in every aesthetic they can find along the way, trying to distill the ever- elusive “familiar yet new” sounds hiding in-between them.
