Tues 1st Feb: Tuesday Showcase (Open Mic with special guests Crossbill)

We’ve got a special guest band joining us for this Ferret Tuesday Showcase to play alongside anyone who wants to participate in the open mic and live music showcase!

Here’s a little bit about our special guests Crossbill

Crossbill is an acoustic-led-indie-pop band from Preston. Some people say they have a bit of a Belle and Sebastian vibe, maybe a bit like Withered Hand too. The songs are simple & melodic, easy to relate to with a subtle tendency towards being depressingly upliftingly regretfully reminiscent, or something.

These nights are open to absolutely everyone, not just students! Head on down and show your skills
If you’re interested in performing, Arrive early to bag your spot!

Thurs 3rd Feb: The C33s + Left + The Strange

The C33s - garage-punk with an infusion of surf and psychedelia. Their sound is an East coast meets West coast affair, ramped up Ramones pop fused with full on Dick Dale twang. If Pulp Fiction was set in a satellite town The C33s just wrote the soundtrack.
