SCALPING are a Bristol based live techno band.
Scalping have quickly become known for blistering performances and astute production, formed through a love of their hometown’s visionary off-the-wall dance music as well as full throttle noise and punk. Each show incorporates dark, hypnotic projected visuals.
In their relatively short time as a band they have supported acclaimed acts such as Marie Davidson, Ho99o9, Black Mass, Holy Fuck and Bliss Signal whilst quickly gaining a reputation for their frenzied closing slots at festivals.
Armed with a battery of squelching synths, animalistic rhythms and gritty, piercing guitars, the band have been meticulous in their selection of shows to deliver the most visceral audio-visual experience. Clouded in mystery, their devoted fans are always left baying for more.

A collaboration between GNOD co-founder Chris Haslam and poet, provocateur and vocalist of one of MCR's finest bands, Lauren Bolger of LOCEAN. Bolger’s shamanic sensual vocal style over these clean pulsating beats from Haslam have a pure 5am on the dance floor vibe, covering Trap, Dub, Techno and dare I say it Pop.
SLAP RASH:
In the couple of years since SLAP RASH leapt into the Manchester underground, their wall of noise and viscous live performance has been turning heads... Their blend of “machine-like blasts of drum work”, roaring bass and brooding synth has led to them opening for the likes of JOHN at The Castle Hotel, Melt Banana at Gorilla, and selling out their debut headliner at The Eagle Inn. They’re an unrelenting force with a lot to say, and this is just the beginning.

Many moons ago, Preston saw the birth of an eclectic & eccentric event which bent all the rules, dragging the city’s music scene deep into a promiscuous relationship between mangled guitars and odd-ball dance music. We called it: BEATS OF RAGE.
