GLASTONFERRET 2023 - The Original Indoor Turfed Festival returns!

The Ferret's legendary event is back for its 16th year, bigger and better than ever. Four days filled with a massive live-music lineup of amazing acts; real grass & hay bales installed throughout the whole inside of the venue; guest craft ales, cider and summer drinks on tap; fantastic festival food vendors, DJ sessions & crafty stalls in the extended outdoor area; and late night after parties taking us through til the early hours.
Events run from Thursday night until Sunday night.

Joining us for the first time (& their first time in Preston) we welcome New York's BODEGA as our Thursday night headliners. Expect art-rock & post-punk with influences from hip-hop, indie-pop, and straight up classic rock. The lineup is stacked from top to tail with Treeboy & Arc + Wesley Gonzalez also making their Ferret debut, alongside Whinge, Uhr, The Dirt & Vice Vera.

Our Friday lineup is absolute killer, with the incredible Bo Ningen joining us for the first time in years, alongside Bull, Butch Kassidy, Tero Kulero, The Dead Things & The Amber List.

Local anti-heroes Evil Blizzard return to The Ferret for the first time since 2021's double-sellout weekender. Expect a hefty sonic assault of propulsive psychedelia and perverse punk, and the kind of joyously cathartic, wholly ridiculous and thoroughly thrilling rock ‘n’ roll ride that only Evil Blizzard can provide.
Joining the Blizz are Welsh DIY punk quintet Panic Shack, armed with brash, witty lyrics and killer hooks, and an absolute tidal wave of ear-crunching noise. The Saturday lineup is an all-day barrage of amazing live bands including the fantastic Personal Trainer, COWTOWN, & local legends-in-the-making Ginnel (with Glastonferret acting as their hometown album launch party). And we don't stop there, with The Jackpot Golden Boys, The Empire Police, Rude Films, British Birds, Zvilnik & Jean Genie's MaSsIvE HUGS joining us. PLUS there is more to be added!

Nottingham 4-piece Do Nothing hit the Ferret stage for our grand finale - their sound is equal parts Roxy-esque art rock and Ze/Celluloid records no wave. Do Nothing songs are characterized by the acerbic lyricism of vocalist Chris Bailey where every song feels like its own self-contained psycho drama.
Joining Do Nothing on our final night of live music, TVAM bring jagged guitars & drum machines, while the spirit of post-punk, electro rock’n’roll does battle with the hypnotic rhythms of Krautrock.
And there's more! This Sunday lineup is an all-day flood of incredible live music including the breathtaking jazz-punks Maruja, Chorley's finest Hauspoints, as well as the awesome San Lorenz, Sky Valley Mistress, YAANG, Barry Gammon, 8-B1Tch, Last Band Standing Runners-Up BROTHER, plus Ferret friends FirstnameFrank & MILLICENT.
Glastonferret isn't just about the bands on the main stage (although they’re all top notch) - these lot are here for your listening & dancing & feasting & shopping pleasure…

From a Sunday night closing party with special guest DJs through to laidback afternoon beats & pieces we’ve got all sorts of selectors joining us for all-day DJ sessions out in our extended beer garden, as well as late night after parties once the bands have finished...
