Following the release of his sophomore EP in 2023 which saw debut BBC Radio One play and a UK Tour, ‘Swimming in the Light of a Cold Star’ sees Oliver return with his signature blend of shoegaze drenched sonic textures and evergreen songwriting.

Delving into impermanence, emotional disorientation and limerence, Oliver’s sound creates ‘the kind of storm that places a listener within a vacuum trapped between ethereal and existential' (Dylan Grinker, New Sounds).

A regular among London’s premier curated lineups at the George Tavern and Old Blue Last, and now sharing the stage with the likes of White Flowers, Swim School and Junodream, Oliver is a key agent of originality in the post-pandemic shoegaze revival.

Stil Life - Alternative five-piece band from North West England, crafting dreamy, melodic soundscapes with a blend of guitars and synthesisers.

Rae Charlea - (pronounced kar-lee-ah) is a British-Australian singer/songwriter/musician from Melbourne, Australia based in Liverpool, UK.

Inspired by Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender, Holly Humberstone, Mazzy Star & Lana Del Rey to name a few; Charlea blends lively guitars with soft & ethereal Clairo-esque vocals creating her self-described sound of 'pixie dust infused indie rock'.

Cataloguing the most intimate parts of her life, Charlea leads fans through feelings of being an outsider, fangirl culture and obsession with problematic rockstars, broken homes, and unrequited love/infatuation.

Alberta Cross were formed by Swedish-born lead singer and guitarist Petter Ericson Stakee and his London pal Terry Wolfers in the mid-00s. Their anthemic Americana-tinged songs possess a vulnerability and earthiness, and it soon showed in how hugely their debut record ‘The Thief & The Heartbreaker’ began to connect.

What followed was success on both sides of the Atlantic, and high-profile jaunts with Mumford & Sons, Portugal. The Man, Neil Young, Them Crooked Vultures (Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones) and Rag N’ Bone Man.

2024 will see a reworked re-release of this album which will feature of wealth of musical collobarations such as Katie Melua, Jack Savoretti and Band of Skulls. Re-recorded in Frome, Somerset, at Ethan John and Dom Monks (Big Thief) Bert Jansch studio, the forthcoming release was self-produced by Alberta Cross vocalist Petter Ericson Stakee, and mastered at the hallowed Abbey Road Studios.

Founded by brothers Johnny and George Marriott only a few years ago, PET NEEDS’ career has been sky-rocketing ever since the release of their acclaimed debut ‘Fractured Party Music’ back in 2021.

From getting signed to SOLD OUT shows, rave reviews to rabid fans, and embarking on extensive global tours; demand for these four lads from Essex has been on a trajectory with the stratosphere. Joined by Jules (drums) and Ryan (bass) the band released their third studio album, ‘Intermittent Fast Living’ in February 2024 which entered the Official Album Chart at Number 17.

Having attracted attention with their relentless live shows, PET NEEDS have toured extensively across the UK, US and Europe supporting Frank Turner, The Lottery Winners, The Bouncing Souls, Flogging Molly, Skinny Lister, The Hives, Art Brut and currently with Laura Jane Grace.

Their own headline tours in the UK have previously sold out and the fourth instalment of their annual Fractured Party Festival takes place in May 2025 with two acoustic shows at The Old Church in Stoke Newington and a full-on electric show at The Garage in London. They’ve played the Main Stage at Beautiful Days and Bearded Theory Festivals and won over fans at 2000Trees, Dot To Dot and many more.

Now, Pet Needs bring their Kind of Acoustic Tour to The Ferret!

From Badly Drawn Boy’s debut album 'The Hour Of Bewilderbeast' – an album the Guardian has called a “lo-fi-masterpiece” – to his most recent, 2020’s Banana Skin Shoes, Damon Gough has been loved by fans and critics alike for his intuitive ear for melody and his ferociously creative mind.

That debut album earned him the Mercury Prize for Best Album in 2000, although his recording career began before that with an EP and several singles on Twisted Nerve, the indie label he set up with DJ Andy Votel.

After the success of Bewilderbeast, he went on to write the soundtrack to the film of Nick Hornby’s book ‘About a Boy’, starring Hugh Grant, followed by Have You Fed The Fish in 2002 which spawned his first Top Ten hit 'You Were Right'.

His prolific output continued with five more albums, including another soundtrack for the film Being Flynn, interspersed with stints in the States and touring around the world. He took a break from recording for several years before his critically acclaimed return in 2020 with Banana Skin Shoes, which he debuted live at some intimate shows including The Roundhouse’s prestigious In The Round festival.
